series and is set several years into the future. The story follows the on-screen series up to the end of Season 3. However, although
Gibbs went to Mexico after his coma, he eventually came back because his need to be with Tony was stronger than is desire
to stay away. He returned to NCIS but from that point on this story departs from the series and Jeanne & the whole La
Grenouille thing never happened, neither did Gibbs' relationship with Hollis Mann.
